2013 – Indianapolis, Indiana

On August 10, 2013, Indiana was our Gathering place for all KDVS/C17 Families. We hosted events starting on Wednesday prior to the 10th and continued through the following Tuesday.

On that particular Saturday, there were 31 families including 127 people from the USA, Canada, Spain, and the Netherlands. In Indiana, it is typically very hot in August and that day was no exception. We were fortunate enough to have shade, plenty of refreshments and excellent company. We were also very fortunate to have Dr. Koolen from the Netherlands join us for the Gathering. His presence made many families’ trip all the worth. My family will always remember their special moments of meeting new friends, swimming, being hot, and the Maplelawn t-shirt bringing those memories back. We look forward to our next Gathering in Dallas.
